Take some time to review the proposed agreement before the vote. The Victorian Public Service Enterprise Agreement 2020 was formally approved by the Fair Work Commission on 2 October 2020 and put into operation on 9 October 2020. Clause 15 contains a statement of intent that the VPS Agreement as a whole is to be interpreted in accordance with the mobility principles and an explicit obligation for the parties to work towards the operationalisation of the mobility principles during the term of the agreement. In case of authorization, the agreement is subject to the formal approval of the Fair Work Commission. The penalty for night work has been increased to 20%, from 15% previously. This new sentence starts on July 1, 2020. A full list of amendments to the current agreement and a copy of the final agreement for review are attached. Based on an organization`s rating, a salary range is used. In some cases, an employer may find it appropriate to apply more than one sanction to adequately address proven misconduct without resorting to dismissal. For obvious reasons, it is preferable in such cases that it be clear that this approach is compatible with the undertaking agreement.

In recognition of mobility principles, a new mobility payment (similar to an annual bonus) has been introduced into the VPS agreement. It is paid to all employees, whether or not they are affected by changes or mobility requirements, and is paid annually on July 1 of each year as a lump sum starting July 1, 2020.
